Best Seller List

Palin's ghost-written autobiography has appeared at the top of the NY Times list for 3 weeks now, but an even more disturbing sight greeted me yesterday. Glen Beck's book, a direct rip-off of O'Henry, is there at the bottom of the Fiction List. That begs these questions: is the Times owned by the Murdock monopoly and simply providing wishful thinking; are the numbers included for pre-buying by political groups who are giving it away for donations; or is the entire Country nuts?

I refuse to believe we've finally attained a Nation of Idiots, but who knows with all the education cuts. Maybe the population can no longer digest writing past the 3rd grade level. BTW, how stooopid do you have to be when you must hire a stranger to write your life?
