When the Kid REALLY Leaves Home

My son, the Rev, ran away to Las Vegas and got married to his personal flight attendant, Kelly McNally this week. They didn't tell anyone they were going to do it, although I have been privy to the info for about a week, since our finances are intertwined and he didn't want me to freak out about how I was going to survive after the fact. Wanted a truly private experience and avoidance of scheduling, people who couldn't make it, and the insane expenses that generally go along with that enterprise. Can't say I blame them, and while I am pleased they've found each other, it will make a difference in our lives.

We may all be moving; some of us may not. It all boils down to what can be afforded in the over-priced housing market where the new Ms. lives. At any rate, I've been trying to sort through the detritus of our lives to make way for a realtor and still take care of my creative works. Not easy when the rain let up for about a day and a half. It's back and I'm hoping that's the largest part of my current down state. Anyway, congratulations and wishes for an idyllic life to my 'kids'.
